How do you facilitate Tabligh in other countries?
Facilitating Tabligh is done through a few means. Firstly, providing seminary trained scholars to local centres in regions where the scholar can share the teachings of Islam with the people. This includes providing living costs and accommodation for the scholars in their respective cities.
Another way is by building and establishing community centres in those cities, ensuring the centre is up to date and is meeting the ever-changing needs of the community in any given region.
To make knowledge easily accessible is the primary goal of Tabligh anywhere in the world. Another means through which we accomplish this is supporting the translation and publishing of useful resources that would promote our objective.
Why Tabligh?
At Orison, we firmly believe that geographical location should never be an impediment to accessing the teachings of Islam and the Ahlulbayt. People in the countries we help often don’t have access to Islamic scholars, nor do they have the resources to access the wealth of online material available. To this effect, we help them access the true teachings of Islam.
Do we do Relief work?
Part of our commitment is to enhance the living conditions of adherents of our faith. Whilst we endeavour to provide spiritual nutrition by teaching them ways to practise our faith, we also strive to provide them comfort for their physical needs. We thus look at how we can further the state of Shias by helping in their educational, welfare, medical and other needs.
